From Cape Coast town, take a shared taxi or trotro heading toward Kakum/Twifo Praso (about 15-20 minutes, GHS 5-8); Hans Cottage is signposted directly on the main road. From Accra, it's roughly a 3-hour drive via the Cape Coast highway. Most visitors stop here en route to or from Kakum National Park.
Do not attempt to touch or feed the crocodiles. Viewing is from raised, netted platforms only. Book rooms in advance during peak tourist season (November-March) as it's a popular stop for tour operators. Great photo opportunity but keep a respectful distance from the water's edge.
